Do you have fishing equipment at the ranch?
We do have some equipment, but serious fisherman may want to bring their own. We also have a nice variety of flies and tackle available for sale in the gift shop.

What is the appropriate procedure as far as tipping?
A 15% gratuity is added to the bill and divided among the staff to make it easier to know who and what to tip. Of course, you are free to tip any individual you feel deserves something extra.

Laundry Facilities?
Yes we have laundry facilities available. Please see the housekeepers for special times appropriate for guest use.

Is there internet, cell service, faxes, etc?
We do have wireless internet for your notebooks. We do not allow use of our business computer. Cell service is right down the road and we do not have a fax as we are on a satellite phone system.

Can we bring a pet?
The ranch policy is that we do not allow pets.

Do you have liquor?
We do not have a liquor license, but you are welcome to bring anything that you like. We do have coktail hour at 6pm every evening, and provide sodas and mixers, along with appetizers.

What Should I Bring?
Prior to your arrival we will send a list of things we suggest you bring with you. The list includes clothing choices such as light jackets, wool socks, items to layer for warmth as early mornings in the mountains can be quite chilly, but the afternoons are usually fabulous! Boots, Rain gear, Hat, chapstick, sunblock, maybe a swimsuit for the hot tub and reservoir.

How is the weather?
Summer at 8300 feet is different than summer weather most places. It can still be 35-40 degrees in the morning. A hot day is 82 degrees. The air is thinner and you can get a sun burn when it is cool out.

Do you offer stays for less than a week ?
YES. As a member of the Dude Ranchers Association we strongly suggest that you stay a week to get the chance to experience our beautiful area and all the activities we offer, but if that is not possible we do welcome you for a shorter stay. A few days in paradise is better than none!
